LEARNING ABOUT THE ORIGIN OF MILK

Where does milk come from? was designed to teach school children across Galicia, from an early age, the keys points to understanding the history of milk in Galicia, as well as details on handling and feeding our cows and Feiraco’s method and philosophy based on the slogan Fuelling a Way of Life.

And what better way to do that than through the story that gives the activity its name? Therefore, from the cooperative we decided that it would be the authors of the popular children’s Xerais collection “Polo Correo do Vento”, Enrique Mauricio and Carlos Taboada, who would stage in the field, at one of our farms, the adventures of the protagonists of Where does milk come from?

The storytelling sessions were also completed with visits to the farm to show schoolchildren firsthand the aspects of animal handling related to feeding, health and welfare.
